150th Anniversary Kansas Cattle Drive-Ellinwood, KS.

Ellinwood, KS welcomes you to the 2nd "leg" of the Journey in time with the re-enactment of a true, historical cattle drive. Sept 17th, 2011 there will be almost 400 head of longhorn cattle being driven down the brick lined streets of Ellinwood, KS. Local cowboys will be taking part by volunteering their time to be drovers, trailhands, and all around cowboys.

The night before the drive through Ellinwood, come to the Camp, enjoy story telling around the fire, and relive history. The public is welcome to visit at certain hours. (tba)

Following the drive through downtown, lots of vendors, concerts, tours of the Underground, and activities will top off this glorious day. Grow your beard or 'tasche, wear your period correct clothing and MARK YOUR CALENDAR for SEPT. 17th-Ellinwood, KS
